I was told this weekend that some of the people who use the Mac browser Safari have trouble using the site.

Does anyone else have problems with alternate browsers? (Mozilla, Netscape, Firefox, etc....)

Just for the record, I'm not a big fan of tabbed browsing and alternative browsers.. never had a major problem with Internet Explorer, and you wont convince me otherwise

Just come out and tell everyone, Azzy, I'm the guy with Safari and the Mac

Safari is the official browser for the Mac platform. Microsoft is no longer developing Explorer for the Mac. So I'm not sure I'd call Safari "alternative." Now, if you want to get into "alternative platforms," yeah, I'd agree that the Mac is that . . . .

The only thing that doesn't work in Safari, for me at least, is that the menu button row-thing doesn't show up. So I can't click on "forums" or "chat" or whatever because I don't see them. I have to switch to an old copy of Explorer to do it. Which is not a big deal.

I'm-a-gonna email you a pdf that has an image of the way the site looks in my Safari browser, so that you can see what I'm talking about.

Let's see, Macs have about 11% of the market, so there might be eight people on this site that are affected . . . or maybe not.

No problems here with firefox...havn't tested all of the buttons though

I used to use Firefox. I forget why I stopped. I think I'll give it a try again.

Its no longer a beta version, give it a try. Runs slow on my system, and feels weird.. never was much for netscape.
