Its a bot.. Im gonna look into a better anti-bot solution for the new year, just have to either get a PHP plugin or write a code that works with the whole site.

What you need to do is ad one of those registration box where it says to "type what you see". That will help get rid of that due to the bots not being able to register. Now we have found a smart bot and they occasionally get through the XMB and Vbulletin forums that have those inplace. Our club uses XMB and since its a member's only forum we just took down the registration link and only turn it on when we are getting a new member.

Pittspeed uses Vbulletin and I'm not sure what whitey is doing to stop that stuff from happening.

The type box will help though.

For got to add, make sure you have it marked that you can only post if you have a registered account. Right now it seems you can post as a guest and thats a big problem with those bots.

You could just require that all new members be approved by you, if those options don't work.

Guest posting was turned off after it was abused.. but im looking into it. Got a lot of stuff going on right now, and with the 12 hour days at the main job, updating the site gets hard :)
