CCI (makers of the phantom) have this neat détente ring setup so you can size your détente to the paint size. I don't know if it works for older phantom barrels (and I doubt it works on unibody ones) but it is a cool feature to look into.

PPS = Palmer's Pursuit Shop
PGP= Pursuit Game Pistol, Manufactured by Benjamin Sheridan

started out using my dads Sheridain mini pirahana(pump) and SL-68 one also used brass eagle posion. Then went to brass eagle raptor with J&J brass barrel which was alrite in the summer, but in the winter turned into a flame thrower breaking one out of every 3 balls because the springs were to hard. It was accutally really reliable tho, it would fire, just break paint.

Then i had a choice between vector, p-68 AT or pro/carbine. Went with the pro/carbine. Had the carbine for years and upgraded it with a smarts parts all american barrel, tippmann expansion chamber, and later a j&j ceramic barrel which turned out to be better than the AA. I never had to even change an o-ring with the pro/carbine, it never went full auto on me or anything.

Then later this fall I accidently won two e-bay auctions for a shocker and a tippmann A5. The shocker was very accurate and consistant with anti-siphon c02. The A5 was nice i had a double trigger and flatline on it, but it broke too many balls in the cyclone, maybe i just got an older model before they improved the feed.

This winter I got a red 2k2 autococker with j&j barrel and race frame, it all came as one for a cheap price on e-bay, the sear on the race frame broke but for the 50 shots i had it for it was really fast. Once i figuered out how to time it and such it shot really nice, very consitant and accurate.

As backup/support weapons I've also had, Hammer(A pump marker, not an acutal hammer), Paint Grenades, Paint Cannon,Paint shotgun, stingray II, dual Delta .68's.

I gotta stop this...:oops:

I have a BE Cobra pump coming my way, as well as an Armotech Zues and a Les Industries Joker. Might have a Minimag too, if things work out right.

*edit* moved out of tech forum to general*

...and I was starting to feel guilty about wanting to get a 2nd marker :mrgreen:

I need to continue developing my game "style", then maybe get some equipment to augment where I'm going.

Anyone use a ghille suit in PB before? how the heck would you tell if you were hit (hmm...maybe that's the point!)

When Mark played up here a lot, he had a partial ghille setup, worked well for him.

As for telling where it hits, if it is that padded, I aim for the mask :)

DING! When I was wearing that old army helmet, I could tell when people were going for my head

I have a ghille suit, but I wasn't sure if it would be "approved" for use or not. Once things melt a little, I might bring it out
