Mine and many other paintball careers began with a Talon! haha. They were great when all 4 of us had them and played 2 vs 2.

Not trying to pick a fight, but that isn't a great selection of markers. Also, I am not a llama because I think Walmart is a terrible place to buy a paintball gun. I happen to believe it is better to support my local paintball store and that is where I buy my supplies. I have gotten to know the owner and he is a great guy and always willing to help me out.

Just my opinion...

tippman 98, spyders, some of the most popular markers out there. If you get within 10 feet of me, and I see you, chances are you'll be out.

and yes, it is good to support your local paintball store. I went to three of them to find a sear spring.

lates,

J.T.

Llamas? you find me a different one... ill get it in there.

Sure, not a great selection, but it is stores like WalMart, KMart and Gander mountain that get people into this sport for very little. Heck, Gander mountain let us use their store to hold a safety seminar for young players, and even offered discounts to those in attendance.

I have contacted Wal-Mart about similar sessions.

Between those large retailers and Brass Eagle, the sport has grown hugely in the past few years.

Will i support my local paintball shop? Sure, if it has what I need and at a fair price. Thats the free market.

Will I also send a mom off to walmart to spend little on a starter kits for little johnny? Yep, you bet. Less of and indent in the pocket book keeps players in, and keeps new players coming.

(PS, JT... did you try a hardware store or a bic pen?)
