I was wondering if any one who knows alot about a zeus g2 would be at the field this Sunday?
I have to get it chronoed and i heard it shoots hot and that I might have to cut the spring but i dont know which spring it is that I have to cut

Don't know this for sure, but it seems like ALOT of the guys are heddin up to Michigan. So I don't know if ANY1 will be there.

I believe Azzy has a Zeus, but like many other Renegades and usuals, will be at the MMG this weekend. I'm sure any questions/problem you have about your zeus he can help you with them. There IS still a game this sunday, and i'll be one of the few still here.

I have a Zues, but in reality, its just a spyder type gun, works like almost all stacked tube blowbacks. If you need help, I can check it out next weekend

Its the spring that moves the bolt which you cock back foward, if you do cut it use good wire snips and make a clean cut, try to round out the end of the spring with out distorting it too much, if the spring spins around abit it will effect how consistant your gun is, I learned its best never to cut springs, a way to get around it would be to put some kind of shim (something found at home depot like a nut washer etc. whatever fits well) on the valve spring to decrease velocity.

But don't do anything till you chrono it, Azzy could probally strip and repair a spyder clone in mintues anyway. But I would still try to get some kind of shim, because any gun that I was stupid enough to cut or bend one of my springs always ended up being a bit inconsistant as the gun cycled and the spring would move around abit.
