hey i am thinking about getting another hopper. thinking about a ricochet apache, but also thing about a halo.

i am not a big fan of the sound activated hoppers. seeing as i have a tsa backman that is sound activated and i am not really impressed with it, especially with my quieter guns.

i was wondering what you guys think

I have a normal Halo, and it is activated by eyes like the revvies. The ReloaderB is the sound activated one.

Used my halo for a bit, and kinda like it. Feeds well, and as fast as I can shoot on a mech cocker. They are heavy, and support is pretty poor, and the shells dont last too long (where did all that old VL plastic ever go?)

The q-loader is a cool option, if you like going that way.

Rudy uses an egg2, and seems to like it. Had one myself, and it worked well, held lots of paint, and kept the balance back towards your hand.

Richochet is supposed to be comign out with a new loader that is force fed, and there is the VL V-locity, but I havent heard much good about those.

I'm a big fan of my Halo and a way to cut down on some of the weight is to use the energizer lithium batteries. Plus they last a hell of a long time. I put some in back in January and havn't had to replace them yet. I also think the price has dropped a little too. You can get a halo now with the rip drive for under 100 dollars on punishers web-site (I think).

I don't use an Apache personally (plus I use an A5 now), but I know a couple of people that I play with who do. And it is a really nice loader. Good capacity and very light for how fast it feeds.

Right now I have an Eggy 2 and its great, the only thing i don't like is the goofy shape and door. I'm also buying a new hopper in the future and its gunna be a VLOCITY. I had a halo and wasn't really crazy about them...mine kept on jamming and was always eatin batteries. I think it might have just been that one halo though because other people I know love thier halos and haven't had a problem yet.

Here's an article/review about the V-Locity

i have a ricochet 2k and a 12v revy and a Halo B, out of all of them i like the Halo B and the old revy, the ricochet is very loud when it opperates and i don't like that siince it gives away my position if i'm sneaking along.
