Hah.. not my problem they're too lazy to designate the direction. All the rest do, the Dakotas, the Carolinas.. Lazy I tell you!

don't matter anywya .. we're the only one that counts...

its why we go barefoot all the time.. never know when ya need to count to 20 ;)

I would think that the game will be "rain or shine". Of course, only the hardcore players show up when the weather stinks :)

One of my old Marine buddies will be out there with us for the opener. It'll be his first paintball experience, but I'm confident that he'll be as addicted as the rest of us :chain:

Games go on, Rain, Shine, or Snow.

Was up the field today, weather was OK, grounds need some cleanup, but all seems good. Lets hope for a warm spell, as it could use to dry up a bit.

Weather isn't looking too good for this weekend.. but then.. what does the weatherman know anyway? He says snow. Fri, Sat, and sun.

Playin in the snow isn't what bothers me.. its having to drive in it. for a couple hours.

Talked to JKR yesterday, and word is, he's talked a few more into coming up, so at least 5 or 6 of us. We'll make a "last minute" decision friday night as wether the weather will keep us from coming or not.

Just in case.. anyone got some REALLY good and easy directions to the field from i-79 (what lane to be in, ect.. I don't mind Pittsburgh traffic patterns if I know where I'm going.)

I'll check on those directions from 79 and I'll post back in an hour or so. I don't trust mapquest anymore, so I'll be doing this the old-fashioned way :)

I-79 is easy to the filed...

Quote:
Take i376 to the Squirrel Hill exit. Follow the signs to Homestead. You will drive for about 1 mile and come to an intersection with a gas station on your right. Continue straight through this light. Go through one light, notice the Wendy's on your left. Take a right at your next light (about 200 feet), this is Imogene Road. Travel for about half a mile and the road will "Y", take a left and park the car. There is a trail leading back to the staging area located on your right here. (As per the field info page)

Joe and I placed signs at some of the closer intersections as to guide people to the field. They are not too hard to miss, and should be pretty clear (2 years in the sign planning biz and getting the hang of this stuff :) )

Weather travel is up to you guys, don't drive in anything that is going to put you in danger. (this coming from 1 of the 2 who drove to Skirmish for the Cold Arse game...).

Hope to see you all there.

Friday I am taking off work (full or part day) to help clean up the field, as well as working Saturday to get things rolling. if the weather holds, Sunday should be a blast, with lots of the field looking like new.

if the weather doesn't hold... I will still be there, paintball gun and camera in hand :smt066

Last I talked to Buddy he is expecting a good turn out. That is, if the weather is good. Anyone know about how many are expected? Depending on the weather, I think I might have between 3-5 of us coming down. I will confirm closer to this weekend with Buddy, it just isn't always worth making the trip from Cleveland if the weather sucks.

<- was told that a group of police officers would be down...

Not quite sure, ut I figure even if the weather isnt pristine, the group should be decent. Give it a few days and I can ask Buddy what the responce is like.
