Sorry, not my call. I think this is the weekend the heavy equipment is coming in, and 2 new raods are being put into the field, and the main road moved a bit.

The field needs a good bit of work to get it back to where it was a few years ago.

'Dozers and such.

stuff is getting moved, roads are being made, forts are being put up or taken down. Basically a rework of the field.

Azzy, I don't know how often you talk to Buddy -- but if you know if he's accepting volunteers, I can help.

I'm always talking about how I don't know enough about the "lay of the land"....here's my chance to help form it.

Well, I just found out that the opening day for walkon games will be the first Sunday in April.

I will let everyone know about any work party (mainly cleaning up existing stuff, construction should be done before then). Thanks for all the offers to help out! :)

Hey a few years ago that course was so thick that you could have a guy from the opposite shooting on the other side of a bush without the chance of him seeing you. A few years before that there was plenty of free space around the forts on the hill that you could sneak up behind them to ambush them. Now that I can get out there I'll be around a lot this year. I have people from last year that I never got to bring out.

Azzy if Buddy is making all these changes are you going to update the maps before the opener.

Oh, don't worry, a lot of it will grow back fast. Heck, those vines can sneak up on you if you don't pay attention!

Yes, I will update the online maps as soon as possible. That means I have to get out to the field and take a lot of photos, and takes a bit of time. I will try my best to get it up and going before the 4th, it all depends on how much is done and if it is done by then.
