what kind of bad experiences are we talking about? I'll have to check out the website some more.

That castle looks pretty cool....do they let you climb the walls, or are you forced through the front door (convenient trap)?

I doubt there will be wall climbing. Yes, the castle is hard to defend the way it is now, Attackers have 4:1 odds.

you will never get me to go back to EMR. not when the home team defends the castle. those of us that were there are all in agreement on never going back. castle defenders were cronoing in at 400 while everone else had to crono in at 280. one out of every three players that defended the castle was shooting over 350 and the other 2 were still over 300. i only saw 4 refs the entire day and all were standing around BSing to each other. i still have a scar on my arm from being hit by a pball at about 25 yards. it was just an all around bad time.

You make it sound like they had to chrono in at 400... thats ridiculous. I can see if someone is shooting hot, but I wouldn't say any field would jeopardize its insurance and business (from lawsuits) by letting a team chrono hot, home or not.

when we complained enough to the organizers about the hot guns they told us not to worry that all players are under the 300 fps rule. but we had them crono everyone of the home team in front of us and every single one of them was over 300 fps most were close to 350 the slowest was 303, the fastest was 405, buddy myself and a few other renegades that were at the game saw this. ask buddy.

I believe you that they were shooting hot. Thats posible. Hell, how many VM's have we seen go out on the field in the past that sat in the sun and shot 350 first few times?

Im saying that a field enforces a limit, but it is up to the players to honor that rule, just like any other.

I know what Buddy has said about it before. Given that it was a few years ago since you guys were up there, things might as well have changed. Ill let you know :)
