Got a new gun at a really good price cheaper than both my A5 and pro/carbine that I sold, and from what it looks like it has a stablizer on it and new front autococking machinery. I don't know about the bolt thought I think it is an ANS quick pull and PBreview says those are bad...

9 times out of 10 the people who post on PBreview have no concept of a review or product comparison. Ususally they post as a boost to the decision to pay whatever they did for the newest thing.

Looks like a good cocker, if you dont like the bolt, I would suggest a JAM anti-chop bolt, have one, love it.

And if you are new to manual trigger cockers, practice pulling the trigger. All the way back, all the way forward. Anything less and you will be frustrated easily with the gun.

I had one once before for about 3 weeks so I have a little practice...but I'll still probally stall it and chop paint

But is that an after market grip on it also?

Anyway from my experince these guns have very little kick so I'm going to have to make an agiator since I got no money for one.

I was curious to know about the trigger pull of the cocker, why does it require practice?

So you dont short stroke it. Short stroking is where you dont fully pull or release a trigger, allowing the pnumatic operation to cycle properly. Lots of guns can be short stroked, such as Mags, Cockers, and Blazers.

That frame looks like a DYE single 45, unless it has 2 trigger adjustment screws underneath, then it may be a Benchmark.

Find a used 9v or 12v revvy online, you cna get them for under 20 bucks. Going to work better and keep you less frustrated in the long run.

personally, I like pre-be shells better, they last longer, but take what you can get

You guys ever see one of those thompson stocks for the old sniper pumps? I know a guy who still has one, anyway I was thinking this gun would look alot like a thompson with one and a wooden shroud/front grip

That was the thompson package for the Sniper 1, came with the stock, 4oz in the asa and a long ribbed barrel.

Stocks arent all that hard to get nowadays, you can still buy them from Auto-Ordinace.

Ive been looking to build an old sniper setup, so if you arent going to try and get the stock, think you could hook a guy up with contact info?

Sorry but I havn't see him for along time or else I would, and I guess your right about the 4oz bottle because I still have 2 unusaly 4ozs that came from his gun sitting in my basement, he left for me to fill them but never returned.

okay a little update, the trigger frame is an ANS quickfire, I don't know what the reg is but I hope its a stablizer. It also has an ANS mini ram, KAPP 3 way, and KAPP rhino reg, the rhino reg is broken at the barb, that little nipple thingie where the clear hoses go into.

I also bought a ricochet 2k off the same guy who was selling that 9v and 12v.
