I heard from someone that right feeds limit how fast your gun can shoot, just need to know if this is true because I can out shoot my gun with the trigger adjusted high, and wanted to know if I should get a Z-board for my hopper, but if its the right feed limiting the ROF then there really isn't a point.

From what i understand, the only difference between the 2 physics wise is about 1 ball per second. You arent outshooting your feed, you are outshooting your feeder. Im guessin this is on your Eblade? With a well tuned cocker setup, eyes or not, you can hit 26 bps. Heck the Osirus can cycle 45bps (just as fast as a spyder lol). The egg can feed about 17 consistently with the y board, and I have heard 20 with the z. The halo can feed 30-50 in bursts, and 24(?) consisttanly, and the q-loader (this thing is sooo awesome) can do 100bps.

Sounds like you need to control your rate of fire. and if you can get an eye (it is possible to do an eye on a right feed, just not easy from what I have heard, unless it is reflective), there is always the JAM Anti-chop bolt (make them for just about anything). I have one, works great. Also, with an egg, you can feed too fast into the gun and cause chops. I have heard you need to tune the speed of the hopper to the gun, not just crank it up.

Accutally its pro/carbine with a special trigger job, suspose to be somewhat like an automag RT. The guy told me a right feed limits the marker to 12bps but I guess he was wrong, as mine seems to be shooting pretty fast. Of course I was using smart paint and shooting the garage so maybe it's just that the smart paint is so thin shelled.

I know some old tippmans had a dampening system inside of them to slow the gun down, so it chopped less.

As I turn the speed up slowly, I can get it to a point just before it starts to chop, and I guess balls start getting a little pinched because for some reason like 1 in 5 fly out like crazy? they just swerve about 6 feet out in weird directions, turn it back down and its fine.

One last question to do you guys think a halo would push the balls past my stop? It uses the same stop as model 98, vm-68, and I think A5.

I know halo feeders can wear out those detentes. They are adjustable though, so you should be good. I would not recomend them, I have seen too many people with broken ones inside, they are very expensive, and customer service sucks.

Keep your egg. One other thing you might want to check is where the balls are resting when it is not spinning. you may need to sand the neck shorter a bit, but plan it first, cause you will have to order new parts for it if it does not work right (I do know of a place in ohio that has parts for eggs and revvys, and ships FAST)

Okay you talked me out of getting the HALO, but I still ordered a Z board from county paintball, waiting for it to come into stock tho.

They didn't have it, but it just came in at county so I will have it in two days. Now another stupid question, what would be a good reg for my gun?

I know the palmers is the best but is there a cheaper alternitive? The reg on the stock 2002 cocker I had was good enough for me but I don't know if it could get up to the presure required for my pro/carbine. But i bet i could get one off ebay really cheap since people are always upgrading their cockers.
