The Vector M1 is the new name for what used to be the Viper M1, by USA Performance Products. Its a stacked tube blowback design, with a built in expansion chamber and a choke valve system that is supposed to regulate velocity very well.

The Air Power Vector is no longer made, it is a reverse nelson / Sheridan hybrid open bolt design. It works like a mechanical rainmaker (which was designed after airpower went out of business, and by the same man). It is a loud, fast paint spewing machine, with some cool features, like an anti-chop bolt (all you do is engage the safety to reset). It has its downfalls as well.

It leaks constantly (design "feature" to keep the LPR from over pressurizing at rest), is very loud (non ported barrel and hits the valve twice each trigger pull), and eats CO2 faster than a VM-68, about as much as a Shocker.

The pluses are the anti chop feature, very nice and it has worked for me. It is a very accurate gun, and can be somewhat intimidating with how loud it is. It is VERY well machined, the fit on the parts is unmatched (think how well a Viking is machined, only better). It will also have no problem with what you feed it. HPA, regulated CO2, liquid CO2, anything.

If you find one (good luck, about 1200 thought to exist) expect to pay 250 and up for it. Although, in the next year, the original designer is remaking it, and will be a more modern paint slinging machine. Look for them under the name Valkyrie and Thor's Hammer.
