i tried last night settin up my co2 tank vertical to the asa on my gun. it started to leak co2 so i took it off real quick without having screwed it in all the way tight. i asked a friend what i did wrong and he told me i have to screw the tank in all the way real fast then it wouldn't leak and id be fine. so, the second time i did it real quick screwed the tank all the way in. but then it still leaked till my tank ran out of co2. what am i doing wrong? or do i need to buy something to properly do this setup?? here's some pics of how i tried it.

Is your cupseal still bad or is this a new gun? Its going to leak like a sieve until that is replaced.

Also, is the o-ring on the bottle good?

Dont try to screw it on really quick, screw it on like normal, slowly, until you hear a slight hiss at the end. Then give it a sharp, quick twist.

Cupseal is inside the gun, in front of the valve. If you bought the gun new, it should be listed on the parts diagram. You should have one that came with the gun in a small baggie. Its a white plastic top-hat shaped thing.
