This past July at the Michigan Monster Game, as many of you know, Bishop and I worked the swamp for the whole two days. This year I brought my VM into the swamp as the swamp gun because last year my Spyder quit on me after it got dunked (electronic trigger). So this year I walked into the chrony shack to chronograph the VM at the start of the day, and a guy that was standing there watching everything whistled and said, sort of in awe and disbelief, "Wow, a VM68." Chris Smith was with me and told him that it's still a respected gun on our field. It was kind of cool to run into someone that respected the VM for its strengths and I guess history. Most of the other guns you see at Michigan of course are all souped up and can fire a billion shots a second, so it was fun to run into someone who respected the strengths of a VM.
