 Post subject: hammer time?

i was playin at riverside 2 weeks ago and it was a great day....until i cleaned my gun later. i looked at my hammer and there was a little chuck taken out of it! :shock: is this sumthing 2 be overly concerned about? if i need a new hammer where can i get a good one cheap...or how much would it be?

any help would be greatly appreciated :D THANKS!!

There should be a flat spot on the bottom.. if thats what you are talking about.

Otherwise, a small bit shouldn't hurt, as long as it doesn't drag on metal, interfere with the sear, or take too much mass from the hammer, it should be fine.

Azzy's the expert, and I'm not sure what the "hammer" is, but I do know that paintball guns can experience a considerable amount of wear and still work just fine--in fact, in some places like the bolt, one expects wear.

it was probally from hitting against the ball detent? of course that would be the bolt
