It's tough to get hyped-up about playing in sub-freezing temps, especially since the cold tends to defile the markers. My blazer was nearly frozen solid until I switched to HPA -- even then, I had so much frozen paint in the feedneck that the paint wouldn't pass through.

Freezing paintball beats no paintball....hence the blizzard game :)

I think that we're all looking forward to Spring!

The last game I played I had a huge advatange agaist the semi's I was playing against, the cold lowered their presure so they would fire about 3 times then go full auto and chop paint, plus my c02 and paint was warm since I was using 10rnd tubes and 12 grams.

I had a maverick bugger out on me that game... wasnt enough pressure in the CO2 to seal correctly.

And you are silly to use 12grams in this weather  .. how many shots did you get?

didn't count, but was amazed at how many I accutally was getting, and I the funny thing was my velocity wouldn't get lower, the gun would just refuse to pump when my cartridge got low enough. A tippmann carbine went down during the game the first time I've seen that happen, the vavle froze and started slowly leaking, it still shot tho till the kid ran out of air.
