I'd go with the A-5. Seems really reliable from what I've seen. Although the flatline isn't as effective as some of the regular barrels you can get for it. (From what I've heard.)

I'd go with the Ariakon Sim 4 R.I.S Elite
Features

.68 Caliber

R.I.S. System

Elite Rail

Elite Scope

Laser Sight Kit

High Flow Bolt

T-Handle M-16 Style Cocking Lever

Powered by either CO2 or HPA

Quick Field Stripping Pins

AR Style Trigger Grip

Retractable Shoulder Stock

Semi-Automatic Fire

Realistic T-Handle Cocking Mechanism

Co2 or Compressed Air Compatible

Included Sling Mounts

Adjustable Sights For Windage & Elevation

Uses All Standard Hoppers (Electronic Recommended)

This gun looks bad *** and looks exactly like the M-16

I havent really heard much of the warsensor or the ariakon, but according

to Azzy warsensor doesnt have very good service. Everyone just

about knows that the Tippmann A-5 is a good realiable gun. But I'd go with

the Ariakon if you want a good looking scenario gun. :smt070

You can't go wrong with the A-5. At least you know that for sure.

Warsensor.. customer service in my experiance = Zilch.

Ariakon - Checked out that gun this weekend, it looked cool, esentially it is a fancy VM clone. Other than that, cant tell you. Do know they were a ripoff of the Armotech guns for a while (I think they were made by the same chinese company, and they tried to sell them around the main distributor, Armotech)

Tippmans are a solid rock, although they have had bad batches with brittle gears for the feeds. If you can, check it before you buy. The customer service has always been top notch, so you cant go wrong. Accessories from Tippman are very overpriced, however, and most make the gun worse (like a low pressure kit, IMO)

There are always other milsim type guns, like the M1 Viper (now called the Auto-Ordinace Vector M1, which is NOT A VECTOR!)... a clone of the old Montneel Z guns, and a good performer out of the box, that comes with a lifetime warrantee (IIRC).

Get the base gun, upgrade what you NEED. this will save you LOTS of money.

Th flatline is a gimick, and very dependant on paint size.

Stocks are all in feel, make sure you want a longer gun first.

If you want barrel looks, get a good barrel, like a lapco, and get Lapco's A5 barrel shroud. Looks good on the gun, works with any barrel. That way you get function and looks, not just looks.

If you cant hit anything or your gun doesnt run reliably.. who cares what it looks like, right?

The A5 low presure kit is very danrous with c02 in my experince, got shot in the kidney and almost passed out. Heres how it happened, the guy was shooting fast and then stoped for a while to manuever, his gun was cold from shooting fast at 350PSI, so the regulator let colder c02 enter the volumizer at 350 psi, which turned into about 700PSI when it expanded later and then he shot me.
