Well to make a long story short, I was shooting up the hill behind Valhalla from a prone postion by one of the back corners of the fort and it went up under my goggles. The pisser was, I missed.

Buddy was talking about the prize give aways one of the last weekends, and he said that it cost too much to do that anymore, apparently he lost more than he made on the whole ordeal. I guess people would show for those days, but not come the others. Just what I heard, I missed that era unfortunately. I was playin pump up in the mountains of Galeton Pa at that point in time.

I'd personally like to get a big game like we had planned for last summer this summer. Even though it didn't happen, maybe we could get a group together and play EARLY on a Sunday. Maybe 930 or so. Just an idea. I'll show up earlier if I know the games will start then.

Just my two cents worth.

Yea back in the day I used to show up no later than 10:00 there would be about 35-50 people each week. Oh so were the days!!!!

yah, thats exactly what buddy was saying on sunday. i know the field used to open and games were on time at 10 when i first started playing here a few years back. i would leave at 9, get the field like 920 , setup and the first game was on time with about 20 or so people.

Just have to get the Renegades to come up.. it just seems that many of the old renegades either dont play anymore, or dont have time to play

My first 2 years at this field had lots of big weekend games, lots of people, cool times indeed.

Next weekend is supposed to be a cookout.. that might help a bit. Pass on the word.

I will be up early. My Soccer game is at 300 so I will have to leave at 2:15. Hope to get in a bunch of games.

Some other responibilities pushed me from being able to come up for a half day to not being able to come up at all.. Sorry guys, Ill see you next week

On a good note, I think I have the date for the pump day set.

hey believe me i am trying to get up there and play. and i can be there at 7 am like when i first started playing, back in the day when bud had real front teeth
