I know some of the renegades were disappointed slightly in the Michigan Monster Game in 2003. So we got to thinking, about maybe trying another field. FutureBall came up in that conversation, and they have a big 2 day game called Futurewar.

https://futureball.com/events.asp?location=2

Granted, it does not yet have the numbers that the MMG has, they had 200+ for the first year. I might be able to drum up some people from around that area to come play if we wanted more.

Also, the Discipline Lords (that referee group that used to run the MMG) is reffing these Futurewar games. So I would expect that the ref work would be MUCH better.

What do you guys think?

Do you have to be a Renegade to participate with your group in these events?

I guess that brings up a different question -- how does one become a Renegade?

Its a secret ritual that involves fire, dancing, and t-shirt factories in the Bahammas.....

Futureball looks pretty cool, but I dont think it could beat the adrenaline rush of 500 people rushing the village at MMG at once!

The problem with that is most of them dont rush anything until the last 15 minutes on Sunday...

Getting painted is part of the game (if you ask me)...let the bashful stay home.

If the balls were "real", then I'd be more careful...

FutureWar looks pretty d**m cool, but I'll take 15-on-15 at Riverside any day

hey, us renegades are up for anything as long as we get to shoot alot of people and the reffing is good. MMG is always a good one to go to for that, cept for the reffing these past couple years. MMG is a very target rich enviroment :D but like i said i'm up for anything

you just have to make sure you have enough paint and air  if not find someone that has a grenade and do a suicide run for the flag at the fort your attacking.

Too little tarets, and it gets much like every other game. Too many, and it becomes a wipe / cheat fest, with paint just being shot for the sake of it.

Thats why I sugested Futureball. 500 players doesnt sound bad to me :P
