You shouldn't have to do any of that if there is a strange body on it. All you should have to do is: 1.) unscrew the 2 frame screws
2.) twist of the rear dounut on the body off
3.) use the hex wrench used to adjust the reg to unscrew the entire fireing chamber so you can lube everything
4.) reverse process
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
BUT TAKING THE WHOLE GUN APART SHOULD GO LIKE THIS FROM WHERE YOU LEFT OFF:
Ok, i have an ion with a buncha upgrades and i have a NDZ QEV that is a re-pakaged clippard QEV.
The QEV replaces the middle banjo
Note-when screwing in banjos, don't over tighten then, or they may snap...just take your time. I didn't once and I stripped my banjo fitting threads off in the firing chamber...JUST A HEADS UP
1.)Once you get the banjo fitting unscrewed from above the regulator, seperate the board assembly from the trigger frame
2.)Dissconect the eye strip wires AND REMEMBER HOW IT WENT ON!
3.)Next, unscrew the rear banjo
4.)Now the QEV should be the only thing still connected to your gun, twist the entire hose/board assembly until the QEV is off
5.)Now remove the rear donut on the back of the strange body and slide the body off-WATCH TO MAKE SURE THE EYES DON"T HIT ANYTHING WHEN SLIDING OFF
6.)Lube everything and reverse process
