Biggest one "I" have made to the field? I moved some logs and used a truck to pull down a tree
and Cleaned up a lot of the staging area with Dave.
Buddy, on the other hand, has had the track loader in, cleared out a lot of stuff on the entry road (better for parking) and is working on making the staging area bigger. That was as of Sunday.
This week and weekend, the main road on the field will be modified, and forked near Valhalla. then it will go up past Ewok, and head onto the flats. The high trail near Valhalla will be flattened off, as will the large open area near Bush Gardens. The pond will be enlarged, and possibly filled again this summer, as well as a new road heading back to Loni's LZ. A new fort may be built where old GI Joe's was, near the covered bridge. Most importantly, we are adding a bathroom
OK, and some extra parking. That still has to be worked out with the owner of
that land (not the field's)
Lots of stuff, but not so much time. Thats why Ill be there again Sunday to help out.
