Dude...not trying to make waves...last time I played I DID run out of air on a 20oz tank that had been "refilled " prior to that game. Don't take everything so personal. We can always find a game or play somewhere...that wasn't the issue. The prices changed EVERY time we've played there...which has been a grand total of five times. So again not trying to stir stuff up...just voicing an opinion.

whoa Chris don't EVER characterize me, i shoot a lot when there are a lot of people playing. 500 usually lasts me the day when we play with about 30 people, but with 84 players like at the kicker, i shoot more to accommodate.

i shoot a lot when i'm outnumbered, like at the kicker we were playing down +/- 15 people. now i don't know when you last played, so i guess you wouldn't remember what its like to play short handed and compensate for a lack of #'s.

calm down fella's.

i mean if someone wants to shoot a crap load of paint is that not their prerogative?

i guess i can be lumped into that catagory with CJ then, i almost shot 500 at the last pump game. does that mean that i am not welcomed at the field.

Guys.. I can understand concern on the prices. Yeah, I've played at places where paint was lower priced, Ive played where it was higher (Skirmish tops all paint prices). Bud makes 90% of his money off of paint sales. most of the profits from anything else go right back into equipment, parts, fuel, refs..

Prices are getting higher for things in every aspect right now.

Honestly, the only way anything would be worked out is if you were to call up Bud and ask him yourself. Hashing it out on here is only being unfair to Chris, who gets to be in the middle, and who doesnt have control over it in the first place. Even still, your asking Buddy to not make money on something.

Perhaps a better way of thinking would be to suggest a better way to do something. Business doesnt run on feelings, but when they do see a better way of doing something that will make them money....

And honestly, Bud does treat us well. I know even before I started working for him with the website, he would fix my guns, get me parts, and usually turn down cash to cover it. Ive seen that countless times with others as well.

If you guys want to start an honest discussion of where prices in the paintball industry along with prices in any hobby industry have gone and are headed in current economic times, then lets do it in another thread, i'll be happy to hop in with my 2 cents :)

lol, 80 for stingers retail.....i hope bud isn't payin that per case cuz then he's gettin raped.

stingers retail around 45 give or take a little

there's no way Buddy's paying $80 per case for paint. Let's just make that clear. That said, $80 a case is a bargain compared to some other FPO fields that I play at. Paint sales are the #1 source of revenue for paintball fields (i.e. support your local fields)

^^ great post Azzy

I'm not too keen on the full auto thing though. I have one some high speed paint slinger, but with all of the foilage, I'm not sure that I want to get into a "spray and pray" match with anyone in that close of range.

Who knows, I might feel like punishing myself :)

Speaking of full-auto madness, it's time to fire up the obligatory MMG thread soon!

Wow...first of all thanks for the info Azzy....like I previously stated not trying to stir s**t up as you all have been cool to us whenever we've played at you field. I was just making honest comments about my experiences at your field.
