Guys.. I can understand concern on the prices. Yeah, I've played at places where paint was lower priced, Ive played where it was higher (Skirmish tops all paint prices). Bud makes 90% of his money off of paint sales. most of the profits from anything else go right back into equipment, parts, fuel, refs..
Prices are getting higher for things in every aspect right now.
Honestly, the only way anything would be worked out is if you were to call up Bud and ask him yourself. Hashing it out on here is only being unfair to Chris, who gets to be in the middle, and who doesnt have control over it in the first place. Even still, your asking Buddy to not make money on something.
Perhaps a better way of thinking would be to suggest a better way to do something. Business doesnt run on feelings, but when they do see a better way of doing something that will make them money....
And honestly, Bud does treat us well. I know even before I started working for him with the website, he would fix my guns, get me parts, and usually turn down cash to cover it. Ive seen that countless times with others as well.
If you guys want to start an honest discussion of where prices in the paintball industry along with prices in any hobby industry have gone and are headed in current economic times, then lets do it in another thread, i'll be happy to hop in with my 2 cents
